TORONTO, Ontario, December 7, 2012 - Clara Angotti, co-founder and President of technology consultancy Next Pathway Inc., was recognized by Women of Influence Inc. at the 2012 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards at a gala dinner on November 28, 2012. She was given the prestigious PROFIT Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship, which is awarded to an individual who has launched one or more successful companies, has a proven track record of growth and profitability, and who is a role model to other entrepreneurs.
Ms. Angotti has a 20-year track record of success as an entrepreneur. She has started and sold two successful businesses, invested in two promising start-ups and helped turn around a distressed company. Her current business, Next Pathway Inc., is a flourishing consultancy that offers technology services to Fortune 500 companies, including strategic planning, architectural reviews, software development and infrastructure support.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Angotti has been an enthusiastic supporter of several charitable initiatives. She has taken on a variety of leadership roles in the community, from being a Founding Patron of Luminato, a Toronto-based, annual multi-disciplinary celebration of theatre, dance, music and more, to being a member of the Board of Directors for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
